2010 Awards Announced by Casinomeister
The yearly Casinomeister awards is hailed as one of the most esteemed awards within the internet casino industry, it started over a decade ago with 15 categories in its line up. This year 40 categories will be presented to the operators who excelled in 2010 and to those who didn’t. Starting the awards Casinomeister said, “There are those individuals who really influence the casino industry in a very positive way and then there are those who would rather be better off selling ice to an Eskimo.”
Since the inception of the UIGEA in 2006 “The Best US Friendly Casino” has gained a huge following. Having won several accolades a few years ago 3Dice Casino won this life-size award for its performance in 2010. It received the following award by Casinomeister as well, namely Best Customer Service Award and Best Games Award.
The Best Global Casino is by far the most celebrated of the Casinomeister awards. Since 2003 32Red casino been the recipient of this award and 2010 was no different. Whilst announcing this award Casinomeister said, “It’s been a frustrating few years for me since I tried my very best not to award Best Global Casino to the same internet casino every year…the thing is, if it’s not 32Red then who?” The Best Casino Group was also won by the 32Red Group of online casinos. The 32Red Group comprises of three casinos – Dash Casino, Ned Play and Golden Lounge. It’s the first time 32Red has won the best casino group award, snatching it from the Club World Group.
New internet casinos are starting up every day and only the very best gets picked by Casinomeister as the Best New Casino. This year the honour went to High Noon which is part of the Club World group. High Noon now finds it on an elite list of previous recipients such as All Star Slots, Red Flush Casino, 3 Dice Casino and Club USA Casino. This award was also won by High Noon for the Best Named Casino of 2010. This new year also saw the introduction of a new award – The Ted Loh Humanitarian Award. In more ways than one Ted Loh was profoundly associated to Casinomeister and was always ready to give a helping hand, especially to those in need. Ted Loh passed away last year and it’s “only befitting to revere his memory and hard work so that others will follow in his footsteps, said CasinoMeister.” The opening award went to the Calvin Ayre Foundation for donations made toward the Haiti relief fund. Many internet casinos and affiliates as well made contributions.
Microgaming received the Best Software Supplier Award. They last won this award in 2006. Casinomeister said the reason Microgaming won this award they followed the advice given by their players and improved their software program accordingly. Affiliate Edge was the recipient of the Best Affiliate Program of 2010; it manages the internet casinos that constitute part of the Club World Group.
