Oddschecker:Top 10 Bookmakers December 2010

The internet casino that made the most progress for the month of December is Betfair (16.3% overall), according to Oddschecker’s top 10. It gained 3% of the market share and it is short on the heels of Bet365 currently topping the Oddschecker table (17.2%).

Ladbrokes started its trial absence from the odds evaluation site, the Harrow-based internet casino gained 9.6% of the market share in November 2010, with Betfair snatching up the lion share of the market.

As a result of poor weather conditions many horse racing events had to be cancelled. Betfair and Bet365 are still dominating the football market with 14% clicks each – as 2010 came to end these two internet casinos contained the main source of market clicks.

Nevertheless, the specials market played a significant role with a whopping 21% share further aiding Betfair’s cause.

Stan James slipped further down the 10 table and is a fraction of a percentage behind Paddy Power after a 2.5% swing between the two bookmakers. William Hill saw a 0.8% increase; the London-based internet casino is just a half per cent behind Stan James’ overall share 8% share.

Victor Chandler’s football betting saw a particularly good November and its overall clicks increased to over the 7% mark, it’s beginning to make some serious in rows within the British football market. Skybet’s shares increased by 9.6% forfeited by Ladbrokes, it dropped back to the 5.6% figure the same figure it ended on in 2009 before a slow but sure decline saw its shares drop lower than 5% in November.

As a result of Ladbrokes’ absence it meant a new internet casino would fill its place on the monthly table and Boylesports is the name of that company. After an absence of 21 months the Irish firm ended up in 10^th place as its 4.3% share was sufficient enough.
