Offsidegaming Signs Deal With Elygra

The provider of Sportbook technology Offsidegaming has concluded a B2B deal with licensed Argentine vendor Elygra to supply a full sports betting, casino and games stage.  Chief executive of Offsidegaming Matt Jellicoe said that or short term goal is to set up another local office in South or Central America later this year.

Founders of Betfair Andrew Black and Ed Wray just sold an additional 10% of their holding in the firm, just after the meteoritic share price of Morgan Stanley to trigger an over-provisional term. On the back of its IPO, the share price of Betfair has increased from £13 to over £15 in its first day of trading.

The additional share prices that have been sold by Betfair’s founders earned them cool £3.6m.   Shares were also sold by other stakeholders, as a result of this 46% of the business is now readily available on the market, reported City AM.

Robert Gustavsson has been elected as Bodog’s managing director of its Asian-facing Bodog88 licensee.  Gustavsson, 45 previously headed the global marketing director for free newspaper group Metro International.  His egaming know-how includes director posts at OnGame Network-powered PokerRoom.com and at Scandinavian internet casino Betway.

Gustavasson pointed out: “I couldn’t resist this post; I can’t wait to get started and sink my teeth into this highly challenging project.   I like the city of Manilla, the potential in Asia is limitless and we’d like to properly exploit this booming market.”

Bwin has prolonged its data centre requirements of its service supplier Interxion.  Bwin has taken up supplementary space in Interxion’s Vienna data centre and in one of Interexion’s Paris data centres.
