Top Software Providers Take On New Casinos

The oldest and most reputable software providers to online casinos are Cryptologic and Microgaming. Both of them have decided to broaden their horizons by signing on new operators.

Cryptologic Software

Cryptologic signed a two year agreement with Betsson Malta Ltd. to license its online casino games. Across 10 gaming websites this Stockholm-based internet casino has more than 400,000 players in its database. Betsson will have access to more than 100 of Cryptologic’s most prominent games, counting in the branded and unbranded video slots and an extensive range of table games. In addition Cryptologic will provide Betsson with its latest game releases.

These games will be available via Cryptologic Instant Click platform. Instant Click enables rapid integration into the operators Cryptologic software platform and electronic cashier systems. In May 2012, Betsafe.com was the first of Betsson’s gambling websites that offered more than 70 Cryptologic games. During the second half of 2012 additional games will be available on the remaining Betsson sites.

Vice President of Operations, Ian Price said the business venture with Betsson just reiterates the fact about the quality of the Cryptologic games and also their popularity amongst its licensees’. Rudi Thomassen, Head of Games of Chance at Betsson, said the following about the Cryptologoic agreement, “With more of Cryptologic’s entertaining games on our sites it will help Betsson to continue to deliver the very best online gaming content.”

Microgaming Software

Microgaming announced a similar deal earlier this month. Its QuickFire platform concluded a deal with Stockholm-based Redbet Gaming Ltd. Players who wager at Redbet Gaming will now be able to play some of the best Microgaming titles such as Thunderstruck II and Immortal Romance. Huge progressive jackpot online slots are included as well.
